EQUI-BONE is a unique blend given anytime you wish to improve the integrity of bone. Calcium deposits, spurs, splints, fracture, OCD or navicular could be your worst nightmare. If the horse has an existing bone complication, feed EQUI-BONE to increase the supply of bone building nutrients, support metabolic function and increase blood circulation to assure that the nutrients reach their targeted destination successfully. Customers generally report more comfortable horses in as soon as 3 weeks and stay on the loading phase of the program for about 5 months. Most competitive riders continue competing during this time.
TLC's EQUI-BONE formula was designed to target the source of the problem, a dietary imbalance which compromises the integrity of the bone and ultimately allows conditions such as navicular, calcium deposits & fractures to develop. This is done through supplementing the bodies ability to successfully remodel bone, since the body is not effectively doing this on its own. Other products on the market put the cart before the horse and simply attempt to make the horse more comfortable. Ultimately this leaves the door open for relapses and further injury since the bone itself is in the same condition as when you started caring for the problem or worse. Don't continue to cover up the problem. Feed TLC's EQUI-BONE formula to improve bone integrity and address the source of the lameness.
The most commonly misplaced "therapeutic measure" for navicular degeneration, calcium deposits and fractures are chronic use of joint supplements and injections. Beware of products comprised primarily of glucosamine, MSM, and/or Hyaluronic Acid (HA) claiming to address bone issues such as navicular disease, calcium deposits or fracture. These joint products can be of benefit if there is a soft tissue (such as degenerative joint disease or arthritis) complication contributing to the lameness. Bone integrity will not be impacted by these nutrients alone since they are designed to aid in cartilage growth and inflammation reduction, neither of which relate to bone density or the mineralizatin process. However, a product like FLEX-FUEL which contains HA, glucosamine and msm can be a great complement to EQUI-BONE in order to aid in the production of synovial fluid and cartilage, while reducing inflammation in the joints. To feed FLEX-FUEL with Equi-Bone, give 1 scoop of each product twice daily.
Powder Vs. Pellet
Our EQUI-BONE pellet formula includes 1,750mg of each Glucosamine and MSM per scoop to help support horses that have cartilage complications in addition to bone complications (the powder does not). The EQUI-BONE pellets can be added to feed without any mixing, whereas water may need to be added to the powder and mixed in with the grain to make an oatmeal-like paste. Because of this, pellets are recommended for picky eaters.

I started this product about 1 year ago. My horse was diagnosed with a coffin bone fracture. I reviewd the x-rays with my farrier and the one side had crushed cartlidge where as the other side had gaps in the cartlidge. He had high growth on the outside of his hoof and compression on the inside. You could even see the imbalance by the way the saddle fits. He had even boughed out his knee some from this issue. He came to me with this issue and when I first started riding him he had a slight limp but he went to completly unridable. I started trying this product and found a great farrier. A year later he is completely sound. He walk, trots, canters and gallops now. He even jumps!!! My farrier yesterday said he is holding his trim and that whatever I am doing is working. My horse and I have gone trail riding all over the place, up and down big hills, ect. He no longer bucks (as he used too) and is a wonderful horse. I give credit to equibone!!

My gelding was diagnosed with Navicular after battling severe lameness for years!I called and got him started on Equi Bone and about a month later he was completely sound to stand and walk. He couldnt even maneuver himself around his stalls without almost falling. Now 6 months later he is completely pain free! He is one happy boy! I would recommend this to anyone!!

I have a paint named Missy . When I bought her and would try to ride her just at a walk not a run, she always felt like she would fall down on the two front legs. After many vet visit and shots and arthritis pills he took xrays of her legs. The xray show both legs were full of pin size holes from her knees down, The vet said she would not be able to hold herself up much less a rider and saddle. My farrier told me about this bone density formula from TLC. I called and order my first bag July 7, 2011. I can tell you for myself that two bags and 6 months later we are riding her. She use to walk limp along in awful pain, now she runs in the pasture and play and is pain free. She will be 12 years old in March. I will keep her on the product as long as she live. I thank God for the product.
